The College is established in the year 1998, Lester B Pearson College Board on the Island of Montreal and one of the nine English School Boards in the Province of Quebec, whose headquarters is in Dorval, Quebec. West Island Career Centre (WICC) is nestled located in the City of Pierrefonds. It is easily reached by car or public transit or any other way of transport. The neighborhood around West Island Career Centre is graced with many large parks including the George Springate Park and Sports Centre, as well as a community library. The college has many options for student’s educational opportunities in the fields of automobile mechanics, business, and health. When signing up for a program at WICC, individuals will join a tight-knit community of learners who learn together to reach success. Daily interactions with fellow classmates and a knowledgeable team of teachers will ensure that students enjoy a rich experience. While taking WICC programs, not only will students receive the skills necessary to enter the workplace but they will also make lifelong friends along the way.

CAMPUS LIFE

As Montreal is known for its outstanding cold climate and beautiful snowfall season, the city is known for its beauty, nature, the sunsets are far more known for its best tourist view. All the programs are taught by teachers who have worked in the industry prior to joining the teaching staff. Other than this, the college has a well-developed books library, a beautiful sideways for students to relax from their hectic academic routine all the laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment used in your chosen field of study. The programs are a mix of theory and practical studies, allowing students to put into practice in the laboratory what they have just learned in the classroom. This teaching approach is designed to help students succeed. There are a number of resources including Fairview Shopping Centre, a variety of grocery stores, and a CLSC within walking distance from the school. Students have access to cafeteria services that provide snacks and meals. The center grounds offer green space where students can relax on picnic benches and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

Once you chose your program and after submitting the application fee, the College releases its offer letter within a week for which the application will be 150 CAD (non-refundable).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

2 YEAR UNDERGRADUATE DIPLOMA

For admission to LBPSB College, the applicant must meet the eligibility criteria, mentioned below.

Minimum 50% marks overall required in Class 12.

English Proficiency Requirements:

  • IELTS overall: 5 (Min Speaking: 5.5)
  • TOEFL iBT: 40
  • Duolingo English Test Score: 80

NOTE: Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.

AVAILABLE INTAKES

To study at LBPSB College one must search for the available intakes for the program you have selected, so the colleges mainly provide you 7 intakes in August/ Sept/ Oct/ Nov/ January/ March/ May. For International applicants, Sept and Jan intake is most recommendable as this intake provides most of the variety of Programs.

OPERATIONAL DAYS OF CLASSES

The working days of LBP will be 3-4 days per week. The College is closed on weekends and holidays. There is complete freedom of work students can adjust their class timing according to their work.

REFUND POLICY OF LESTER B. PEARSON COLLEGE

All those students wanted to apply for the refund must go through the policy of the college, so all refunds much be made by submitting the official refund request to the college. All refunds will be done via flywire transfer. 100% Tuition fee will be refunded in case of visa refusal.
